IHC Engineering Business Ltd select Dyer Engineering

IHC Engineering Business Ltd have appointed Dyer Engineering to support the development of its innovative offshore wind cable laying vehicle, Hi-Traq.

Dyer Engineering  will work closely with the IHC Engineering Business Ltd project team in the creation of a demonstration vehicle, which will apply and introduce next generation technology for the trenching and laying of inter-array cables in offshore wind developments.

The scope of work awarded to Dyer Engineering  includes delivery of  the steering leg, steering pivot, wishbones and bogies.
 
Charlotte Pugh, Project Manager at IHC Engineering Business Ltd commenting on Dyer Engineering's excellent credentials  said: “Establishing a robust and experienced supply chain is an essential element in the development of new technology"

The Hi-Traq project forms part of the RETA project, which is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007 to 2013. The Department for Communities and Local Government is the managing authority for the European Regional Development Fund Programme
